<COA + <C + <OAC = 180° ( Angle Sum property )
40° + 80° + <OAC = 180°
<OAC = 180° - 120°
<OAC = 60°
<OAC + x° = 180° ( Linear pair )
60° + x° = 180°
x = 120°
<BOD + <OBD + <D = 180°
<BOD = <COA ( Vertically opposite angle )
40° + 70° + <OBD = 180°
<OBD = 180° - 110°
<OBD = 70°
<OBD + y° = 180°
y = 180° - 70° = 110°
Answer : x = 120° ; y = 110°
