Highest potential of tidal energy is found in those places which are nearest to the sea. They can be found in places like Gujarat, West Bengal, the southernmost part of of West Bengal which is named as Bakkhali, The coastal part of Odisha and the coastal areas of India.
The highest amount of potential energy is found in Gujarat which includes 10000 Mega watts which is produced from tidal sources. Then comes the place of Bakkhali which also produces a huge amount of of electricity from the tidal currents
