  • BMI stands for body mass index . BMI can be calculated by using formula weight (kg) divided by square of height (m)

  • if BMI is less than 18 then the person is underweight

  • if BMI is more than 25 then the person is overweight

  • BMI is also a part of human development index

Question :- calculate BMI if height is 4.5m and weight is 68kg

now your solution mate,

BMI = weight (kg) / square of height (m)

BMI = 68 / (4.5)2

BMI = 68 / 20.25

BMI = 3.4

here BMI is 3.4 so we can say that the person is underweight
