Height and base of a Right angled triangle are 15cm and 8cm, find the length of it's hypotenuse.​

use pythagoras theorem..

15²+8²=x²

225+64=x²

289=x²

root 289=x

Base = 8cm

Height (perpendicular)= 15cm

Therefore,

(Hypotenuse)^2 = (Base)^2+(Height)^2

(Hyp)^2z = (8)^2 + (15)^2

(Hyp)^2 = 64 + 225

(Hyp) = 289

Hypotenuse = 17 cm.
