AB²+BC²=AC²

AB--> HEIGHT OF RIGHT ANGLED TRIANGLE

BC--> BASE OF RIGHT ANGLED TRIANGLE

NOW,

(24)²+(18)² = AC²

576 + 324 = AC²

900 = AC²

square rooting on both sides

√900=√(AC)²

30 = AC
