Height(h)=10cm

Radius(r)= 15cm

Total surface area(TSA)=

2\pi{r}(r + h) \\  = 2 \times 3.14 \times 15(15 + 10) \\  = 2 \times 3.14 \times 15 \times 25 \\  = 2355 {cm}^{2}

Solution:

Given:

⇒ Height of cylinder = 10 cm

⇒ Radius of cylinder = 15 cm

To Find:

⇒ TSA of cylinder

Formula used:

⇒ T.S.A of cylinder = 2πrh + 2πr²

Now, put the values in the formula. We get,

⇒ T.S.A of cylinder = 2πrh + 2πr²

\sf{\implies T.S.A\;of\;cylinder=2\times 3.14\times 15\times 10+2\times 3.14\times (15)^{2}}

\sf{\implies T.S.A\;of\;cylinder=942+1413}

\sf{\implies T.S.A\;of\;cylinder=2355\;cm^{2}\;(Approx)}

Hence, T.S.A of cylinder is 2355 cm² (Approx).
