Step-by-step explanation:

Given :-

Helen has 21 marbles. 2/7 of them are blue,1/3 are red and the rest are green.

To find :-

How many green marbles does Helen have?

Solution :-

Number of marbles of Helen = 21

Number of blue marbles

= 2/7 of the total marbles

=> (2/7) of 21

=> (2/7)×21

=> 2×21/7

=> 2×3

=> 6

Number of blue marbles = 6

Number of red marbles

=> 1/3 of the total marbles

=> (1/3) of 21

=> (1/3)×21

=> 21/3

=> 7

Number of red marbles = 7

Number of blue and red marbles

= 6+7 = 13

Remaining marbles are green

=> Total marbles - Blue and Red marbles

=> 21-13

=> 8

Number of green marbles = 8

Answer:-

Number of green marbles are 8
