Detailed Answer :

Life is not a bed of roses. Everyone has to face some problems in his life. The person who overcomes all the obstacles in his path with determination turns out to be a successful person. Helen, a deaf and a blind girl, faced problems right from her childhood. She wanted to be like other children who could see, hear and speak. Sometimes her friends discouraged her but that did not deter her from her efforts. She worked hard and gained knowledge in all subjects with the help of Miss Anne Sullivan. Miss Sullivan was one person on whom she relied on and emerged as a successful personality. Helen Keller worked to enter Radcliffe College. It was not an easy task but she had decided that she would study with normal children. It was only her will power, firm determination and Anne Sullivan's guidance that made her dream come true. Though she did face problems in the college but with her perseverance, sailed out of them. Helen Keller became the first deaf-blind person to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree. She went to regular schools and colleges, and succeeded in spite of her disadvantages due to which she had to work extra hard to keep up with her studies. Despite her moments of doubt and resentment she persevered and achieved her goals.
