Once Miss Sullivan and the author were returning from a long walk. it was a fine morning but had grown warm and sultry when they were coming back to home.
They took shelter under trees at regular intervals. The shade was welcome and the author climbed the tree and scrambled to a seat in branches.Miss Sullivan went to the house to fetch the luncheon, as the author desired to stay seated in the tree till she returned.
Suddenly, the sky was clouded and light had died out . A nameless fear clutched author's heart . She felt absolutely Alone and a chilling terror crept over her. she longed for her teacher's return and to get down from that tree . she wanted to jump ,but was terrified.
Suddenly, the leaves were vigorously stirred and a shiver ran through the tree . The tree swayed and strained . The branches lashed about her . when she thought that the tree and she would fall together, her teacher seized her hand and helped her down.
This was the experience that taught her that “ nature is not always kind ”.
I think that's helps u .
