One day Miss Sullivan helped Helen to climb up a tree. Suddenly the weather got ugly and dark so Helen got terrified.

Her teacher had left her there so she was very much scared and was hoping her return.

Too scared to jump she crouched down the tree. This experience of Helen taught her that nature is not always kind, but it wages open war against her children.
