Helen was a child prodigy and had a willingness to learn new things. She liked handling different things and learning their names. She had an insatiable passion for knowledge and exploration. She was very curious about all the things around her and wanted to touch and explore their nature. She used to touch and smell different flowers so that she could distinguish between them. She had a commendable power of observation and thus she learnt to find solace in nature and its peaceful serenity.

She was always sprightly and precocious and was very energetic. She was also quite fickle minded as her hunger for enhancing her knowledge made her get attracted to different things around her simultaneously. She was never idle even for a moment. She was hungry and so curious for unexplored knowledge that it never died. She was always open to learning new things from Ms.Sullivan and her lessons never tired her.

She wanted to have her hands in everything so she had varied interests which ranged from reading to sailing, playing chess to playing pranks on others.

Thus,we can say that
Helen was an inquisitive child.
