Helen; lost her sense of hearing and seeing in her childhood. But she was inclined towards learning since childhood.
In her childhood she learn many words like tea, welcome etc. So, we can say that she was interested in learning new things and words since childhood.
At first when she say these words all were surprised by hearing these words from her because she was a small child at that time.
But after sometime she develop a very bad fever. Because of that she lost her sense of hearing and seeing. But with the help of Miss. Sullivan she learn many things like how to talk in sign language because of that sign language she easily understands what others are saying to her and she also was able to describe what she want to say.
