Helium atom has 2 electrons in its valence shell but the valency is not 2. Explain.

it is noble gas that's why its valency is 0 not 2.And
its shell fully complete its orbit

it is a noble gas....and its valency is not 2 because its shell is complete....
when we do electronic configuration we put elements in order 2,8,8...like this so helium has 2 electrons so its octate is full...
