Helium gas is filled in two identical
bottles A and B. The mass of the
gas in the two bottles is 10 gm and
40 gm respectively. If the speed of
- sound is the same in both bottles,
what conclusions will you draw?

\bf{\boxed{\boxed{Answer:-}}}

◻ Here, the conclusion is Temperature in bottle A is less than in Bottle B.

\bf{\boxed{\boxed{Solution:-}}}

Here, Given that :-

  • Mass of helium in bottle A = 10gm
  • Mass of helium in bottle B= 40gm

Velocity of bottle A =Velocity of Bottle B.

=> Va = Vb = v

We know that,

V is directly proportional to

 \sqrt{ \frac{t}{m} }

T = temperature

So,

\frac{ta}{ma}  =   \frac{tb}{mb}

 \frac{ta}{tb}  =  \frac{ma}{mb}

 \frac{ta}{tb}  =  \frac{10}{40}  =  \frac{1}{4}

So, temperature in bottle A < temperature in bottle B.

Answer:

Here, the conclusion is Temperature in bottle A is less than in Bottle B.

\bf{\boxed{\boxed{Solution:-}}}Solution:−

Here, Given that :-

Mass of helium in bottle A = 10gm

Mass of helium in bottle B= 40gm

Velocity of bottle A =Velocity of Bottle B.

=> Va = Vb = v

We know that,

V is directly proportional to

\sqrt{ \frac{t}{m} }mt

T = temperature

So,

\frac{ta}{ma} = \frac{tb}{mb}mata=mbtb

\frac{ta}{tb} = \frac{ma}{mb}tbta=mbma

\frac{ta}{tb} = \frac{10}{40} = \frac{1}{4}tbta=4010=41

So, temperature in bottle A < temperature in bottle B.
