HERE IS THE ANSWER:-)
=>Hydrogen is prepared in the lab by the action of acids on metal’s dilute.
=>Zn+H2SO4——> ZnSO4+H2
=>Zn+ 2HCl—–>ZnCl2+H2
Sulphuric acid is added to granulated zinc. Zinc sulphate or zinc chloride is formed in solution and the hydrogen that is evolved is collected over water in a trough.

Heya mate!

Here is your answer-:

Hydrogen is prepared by this method-:

Laboratory preparation of Hydrogen.

You have to perform an activity which includes-:

Reactants-:

granulated zinc, dilute hydrochloric acid or dilute sulphuric acid.

Procedure-:

please some pieces of granulated zinc in a flat bottom flask fitted with an airtight cork with two holes.Through one hole pass the thistle funnel with the long stem and through the other along delivery tube.

Pour hydrochloric acid through the funnel.

Reactions-:

Zn+2HCL= ZnCl2+H2

Observation-:

Reaction wale gradually start in the form of effervescence and evolution of gas. When,all the air from the air has been expelled, collect the gas.

Collection of Hydrogen-:

Hydrogen is collected by downward displacement of water because-:

(1) it is virtually insoluble in water.

(2)It forms an explosive mixture with air and therefore cannot be collected by downward displacement of air even though it is lighter than it.

Precautions-:

(1)The apparatus should be a tight and there should be no leakage of gas.

(2) There should be no film burning near the apparatus.

(3)The end of the thistle funnel should be dipped under acid so as to prevent gas from escaping through the thistle funnel.

Hope this helps you
