Answer:

(3 - 4x + 5) \div (x + 1) = (4 - x) \div (x - 1) \\ (3 - 4x - 5) \times (x - 1) =( x + 1) \times (4 - x) \\ 3x -  {4}^{2}  - 5x - 3 + 4x + 5 = 4x + 4 -  {x}^{2}  - x \\ 2x + 2 -  {4}^{2}  = 3x + 4 -  {x }^{2}  \\ 2x - 3x -  {x}^{2}  = 2 - 16 + 4 \\  - x -  {x}^{2}  = 6 + 16 \\  - x - x = 6 + 4 \\  - 2x = 10 \\ x = 10 \div ( - 2) \\  x = ( - 5)

-5 is the answer.

Answer:

3-4x+5/x-1=4-x/x-1

first we will cross multiply 4x+5 with x-1

nd we will cross multiply x+1 with 4-x

so,

4x+5(x-1)= 4x+ 5x-5

= 9x-5.......i

x+1(4-x)= x+4-x.......ii

now we will equate both the equations i nd ii

9x-5=x+4-x

9x-5-x-4+x =0

9x-x+x-5-4 =0

9x -1 =0

Therefore,

9x =1

x = 1/9...
