Complex organisms does not have specialised cells for regeneration. Unlike organisms like planaria and hydra which can undergo regeneration , complex organisms have organs and organ systems which prevents them from giving rise to new individuals through regeneration.

their body is highly complicated

there are specific organs to do specific function

there is a Labour division in the body of complex organism

regenertion is carried out by specialised cells which are not present in complex organisms.
