Answer:

→50000 Hz

Explanation:

From the relation U = Vλ, the frequency of the wave is

V =  \frac{U}{λ}  =  \frac{300 {m}^{ - 1} }{0.60 \times  {10}^{ - 2} }

V = 50000 \:  \: Hz

This Is much above the audible range. It is an ultrasonic wave and will not be audible

it is not audible.

it is given that, wavelength of wave produced in air , λ =0.6 cm = 6 × 10^-3 m

speed of wave, v = 300m/s

we know the relation,

speed of wave = frequency × wavelength

so, frequency of produced wave in air, f = speed of wave/wavelength = v/λ

= 300/(6 × 10^-3)

= 5 × 10⁴

= 50,000 Hz > 20,000 Hz ( obviously 50,000 is greater than 20,000)

but we know, The human have tendency to ear only within range 20Hz - 20,000 Hz.

then, this wave is not heard by human. it is not audible.

[note :- wave of higher frequency than 20,000 Hz is known as Ultrasonic wave. ]
