hello.Actually i jave done it in my copy but now i cant understand it .can u please tell me how to solve and give the answer in standard form.please tell me the rules whether its multiplication or division.please help me i need you help.Explain the rules!​

now the given number has decimal (2.5) after one digit from right so place decimal after one digit from right in your answer , you will get 5.0.

now 10 to the power 8 multiplied by 10 to the power negative 2 will look like this:--

two zeros will get cancel leaving you with 10 to the power of 6 .

we write it in that way rather than writing the whole number because

5.0 × 10^6 looks much better than 5000000 which looks difficult to even prononce.
