dear may it's helpful answer to you

Newton's second law of motion is also known as momentum(P).It is the product of the mass(m) and velocity(v) of an object.The rate of change of momentum of an object is directly proportional to the unbalanced external force acting on it. The direction of the unbalanced force is the same as the direction of the change of momentum.

P=mv

Let the mass of an object=m

initial velocity=u

final velocity=v

Therefore,

Initial momentum=mu

Final momentum=mv

Rate of change of P=(mv-mu)/t

=m(v-u)/t

=m*a=F

Thus, we can restate Newton’s second law of motion as follows:

Force acting on a body is equal to the product of its mass and acceleration.
