 if \: x \:  = {2}^{ \frac{1}{3} }  + {2}^{ \frac{2}{3} }  \\ show \: that \:  {x}^{3}  - 6x = 6

Heya..!!!

Given that:-


X = 2⅓ + 2⅔

On cubing both side

we get,

X³ = (2⅓)³ + (2⅔)³ + 3×2⅓×2⅔(2⅓ + 2⅔)

⇒x³ = 2 + 4 + 3×2(2⅓ + 2⅔)

⇒x³ = 6 + 6x

⇒x³ - 6 = 6x
