Hello, At what points the line graph of the equation 3x-y=6 cuts x-axis and y-axis respectively? It will be nice if you explain yr solution.

if the line cuts X axis, then y = 0

put this value of y in eqn 3x-y = 6

you get 3x=6

so x = 2

hence coordinate s are 2,0

when the eqn cuts y axis, its x coordinate will be 0. put this value of x in eqn 3x-y = 6

you get -y = 6, y = -6

So the coordinates are 0, -6
