⭐. Cell division is itself a mode of asexual reproduction in unicellular organisms of many Monerans and Protists
⭐. Unicellular organisms reproduce by binary fission, where the cell divides into two halves and each of them grows rapidly into an adult cell example Amoeba and Paramecium
⭐. In yeast, the cell division is unequal and results in a large cell and a small cell called bud which remains attached to the large cell, the bud gets separated and grows into an adult yeast
⭐. Sporulation is the phenomenon employed by Amoeba under unfavourable conditions, when the cell withdraws its pseudopodia and secrete a three layered hard covering called cyst.
⭐. When conditions become favourable, the encysted Amoeba divides by Multiple Fission and produce a number of pseudopodiaspores which become liberated by the rupture of the cyst, each of them grows into an adult cell of amoeba.
⭐. Unicellular algae like chlamydomonas form zoospores are thin-walled microscopic motile structures with flagella under favourable conditions, each of them grows into an adult cell.
