please can anyone say that why when a new user answers a question she is asked to wait for a certain number of seconds? and when does this stop eventually?

I would like to give the user an opportunity to enter an input, and use a default value if they do not enter anything after 5 seconds.

poppins11: means within 5 seconds i have to start answering?
