Hi there,
Elections is the process by which a representative is elected by people to rule the country in a democratic way.
Anybody can stand as a representative in the election it's because of laws formulated by our Parliament body.
Representer get votes by people to win a election so that he/she can rule the country according to the wellfare of citizens.
Election Commission :
1.It is non organ body of government which conducts election , voting date, counting date etc.
2.It is responsible for the conduction of election in a free and fare manner.
3.It formulates code of conduct,which is rules and regulations which have to follow by different political parties.
Such rules are regulations are :
No parties are allowed to advertise their representative at the time or date on election,etc.
3.If they found voting is not take place in a right manner ,then they can give another date for voting as well can change counting day.
Winning party forms the government ,and all other parties can colab with others to make a another party.If rulling government won't work for the well being of people then they will get loose their seat.
Why election Is Important :
1.It checks the government to become dictator.
2.It ensure and protect fundamental laws,and also helps to protect the interest of the people.
3.It gives another chance people to select and choose their leaders which will work for them.

Rajya sabha.
Lok sabha are directly elected by people.
Rajya sabha are elected by legislative ministers.
Indian election is called general election.
