=) "Christ The Redeemer" is a beautiful art or big statue of Jesus Christ . It is situated in the city of Rio De Janeiro country Brazil . It was created by French sculptor Paul Landowski . Itd almost 38 feet tall in height .

During the 1850s the Vincentian cleric Pedro Maria Boss proposed putting a Christian landmark on Mount Corcovado to respect Isabel, princess official of Brazil and the girl of Emperor Pedro II, despite the fact that the venture was never affirmed.
