• Primary sector :- The primary sector includes all the activities of the natural resources [raw materials] such as farming, agriculture, fishing, mining, deposits, etc. In India, mostly, everywhere, in large number, we can see people doing Primary sector. It has most importance in less developed countries and less importance is developed countries.

• Secondary sector :- The secondary sector depends on primary sector. It is the production of the materials obtained from primary sector. Like, production of milk products from milk, etc. This sector is often divided into light industry and heavy industry. Many industries requires a lot of energy to produce some materials and also require machineries and factories to convert raw materials into good and products. Sceondary sector supports both primary and tertiary sectors.

• Tertiary sector :- This sector involves the provisions of services to other businesses and the customers. Services may include, transport, distribution and selling of the products produced by secondary sectors to the customers, etc. Also, the profession of teacher, doctor, engineer, hotels, resorts, banks, etc.
