10 {}^{8}  \times \frac{1}{6}  {m}^{ - 1}

Explanation-

given,

wavelength = 600Å

==> 600Å=600 \times  {10}^{ - 10} m

AND,

v =  \frac{velocity \: of \: light}{wavelength}

==>  \frac{3 \times  {10}^{8} }{600 \times  {10}^{ - 10} }

==>  {10}^{16}  \times \frac{1}{2}

==> 5 \times  {10}^{ - 15}  {s}^{ - 1}

==> wave number,

wave no. = \frac{1}{wavelength}

==>  \frac{1}{6 \times  {10}^{ - 8} }

==>  {10}^{8}  \times \frac{1}{6}  {m }^{ - 1}
