(2/3 * 3/5)-¹ ≠ 1/2/3 + 1/3/5

(2/5)-¹ ≠ 1*3/2 + 1*5/3

5/2 ≠ 3/2 + 5/3

5/2 ≠ 3/2 + 5/3 (LCM of 2 and 3 = 6)

5/2 ≠ 3/2*3 + 5/3*2

5/2 ≠ 9/6 + 10/6

5/2 ≠ 19/6

In our question x=2/3 and y= 3/5

so

 {x \times y}^{ - 1} =    { \frac{2}{3}  \times  \frac{3}{5} }^{ - 1}

 =  { \frac{2}{5} }^{ - 1}

 =  \frac{5}{2}

and

 \frac{1}{x}  +  \frac{1}{y}  =  \frac{3}{2}  +  \frac{5}{3}

 =  \frac{19}{6}

and we clearly know that

 \frac{5}{2}

not equal to

 \frac{19}{6}

hence proved
