Given:

Initial velocity (u) = 5m/s

Final velocity (v) = 30m/s

Time taken (t) = 50s

To find:

Distance covered by car (s)

Solution:

Since speed vs time graph has a constant slope,

motion is uniformly accelerated.

Acceleration (a) = slope of graph

= 5/10 = 1/2

Using equation of motion:

 {v}^{2}  -  {u}^{2}  = 2as

Substituting,

s= (900-25)/2 a

s= 875m

Distance travelled by car is (b) 875m.
