It is the law of segregation of alleles..that is independent assortment.

you know that a gene generally has 2 alleles..,acc to this law ,one of the allele is segregation irrespective of the other.

when gametes are produced one allele enter the gamete.

its all about 2 allele in each gene..let us come for multiple alleles that the allele sgregation will be half of the allele to the gamete. .

. thats it......
