✯The error due to the following reasons is called end- error :-
❶ the zero mark of the scale may not coincide with the point from where copper strip touches the wire .
❷ the 100 cm mark of the scale may not end at the point where the copper strip again touches the wire.
❸ the resistance of copper strips and connecting wires have not taken into consideration.

This error arise due to the non uniformity of the meter wire End corrections can be estimated by including known resistances P1 and Q1 in the two ends and finding the null point.
