States Of Matter are

Solid

Solid is one of the four fundamental states of matter.

In solids particles are closely packed. It is characterized by structural rigidity and resistance to changes of shape or volume.

Liquid

A liquid is a nearly incompressible fluid that conforms to the shape of its container but retains a constant volume independent of pressure.

As such, it is one of the four fundamental states of matter, and is the only state with a definite volume but no fixed shape.

Gaseous

Gas is one of the four fundamental states of matter.

A pure gas may be made up of individual atoms, elemental molecules made from one type of atom, or compound molecules made from a variety of atoms.

A gas mixture, such as air, contains a variety of pure gases.

hi,

mainly exists in three types there solid liquid and gases there is also the fourth state that is called as plasma state
solid in this molecules are tightly packed
in liquids molecules are not tightly packed
in gaseous molecules are free to move
solids are rigid whereas liquid whereas liquid and gases are not rigid
example for a solid is book an example for a liquid is juice and example for gas is Oxygen
the process of change of state from directly solid to gases without coming to the state of liquid is called sublimation
the intermixing of different types of particles of matter are called diffusion
Solid is the state in which matter maintains a fixed volume and shape; liquid is the state in which matter adapts to the shape of its container but varies only slightly in volume; and gas is the state in which matter expands to occupy the volume and shape of its container.
the meaning of matter is matter is anything which occupies space and has weight
should I write more?
