longitudinally the Himalayas are divided in 3 parts

  1. Himadri - 6000m average height
  2. Himachal - 3700m to 4500m average height
  3. Shiwalik - 900m to 1100m average height
  • now for its total length we have to add the height of all 3 parts but there is not fixed height of himachal and shiwalik so whenever there is need to write its length we will write the length of its all 3 parts.
