Raas-Leela has been described in several books and is the popular subject of folklores. It is said that Lord Krishna also named as Kanha dances with Radha and other Gopis or her sakhis (friends). When Lord Krishna played his flute, the whole Vrindavan (Vrindavan) would get filled with pleasant vibes.
Every evening, like magicians, the priests of Nidhivan demonstrate before a crowd of onlookers how they lock the door of the temple using multiple massive locks and chains. Later, they ask everyone to vacate the place, citing threatening stories about the consequences if someone even accidentally witnesses the divine presence that takes over the place after dark. And like this, every morning, the priests unlock the temple-door before the same crowd of onlookers, revealing how the offerings would now be in a half consumed State!
The door was locked and chained. The priest had the keys. Nobody went in. Nobody came out. And yet, the offerings had been touched! A Classic Agatha Christie plot, only this time it is not fiction… It happens everyday in Nidhivan!
Now, the critical analysis:
God himself visiting a temple every night to consum Paan and Prasad (offerings) is an impossiblity. So the question is, who is chewing paan in the privacy of the locked temple every night in Nidhivan, if not god? If it is a person, then he himself surely does not beleive in God…
So who or what exactly consumes the offerings in the temple every night? I have two theories:-
It might be a scam to attract devotees and exploit them financially. You never know the profit margins of running a famous temple.
Instead, rats might be hungrily consuming the offerings every night. This seems likely because rats are notorious for doing things like this in any ordinary household. Also, at holy places like a temple, rats are not discouraged. So the question is- are there rats in the Nidhivan temple?
I know this much only...
and will research about this phenomenon
