✨IN class 10 there are mainly 8 functional group are as follows--

GROUPS. suffix

1. carboxylic acid(-cooh-) -oic acid

2.ketone (co). - one
3. alcohol (oh) - ol
4. aldehyde (Cho). - al
5. alkane - ane
6. alkene -ene
7. alkyne. -yne
8 alkyl group.
✨ alkyl group at usually used as side chains
such as -( CH3 , C2H5)
