is a type of structure in plant leaves which help in respiration the stomata take the carbon dioxide that is released by humans and convert into oxygen. this is a like small types of course

Hi dear !!!


Stomata is tiny pores which is present on the surface of leafs.


generally ( mostly ) stomata is found in lower side of leaf because of gaseous exchange and transpiration process.



following are the function of stomata :-


a) stomata help in gaseous exchange :- as we know that plant take carbon dioxide from atmosphere this process is done through with the help of a stomata.



b ) transpiration in plant:-
water loses by plant is carried out by with the help of a stomata.
through the tiny pores of stomata there is a process of transpiration take place in which the plant release water through the tiny pores of stomata.



these are two important function of stomata.
