question is
Sachin scored twice as Rahul. their runs fell 4 short of a century find their score
note :- this is from simple equation lesson in maths this is working problem please help

Answer:

Let the Rahul scored x runs

Given that Sachin scored twice as many runs as Rahul.

Therefore, The runs scored by Sachin is 2x

Given that Their total runs fell two short of double century.

Therefore, x+2x=200−2

⟹3x=198

⟹x=66

Therefore, the runs scored by Rahul is 66 and

the runs scored by Sachin is 2×66=132
