First remember everytime when u find LCM when there is addition and subtraction only.
Suppose if u have 1/4+1/2
Then for 4 and 2 we have to find LCM
How to find is ur question right 4,2
2×2=4 so beside u have to right 4 then now for 2, 2×1= 2 again for 2&2 so 2×1 =2
Now are LCM is 4×2×2= 12
So, 1×8/12 & 1×6/12 = 8+6/12 = 12/12=1
