There are several hormones secreted by pituitary glands which plays a vital role in a human's body.........

Some of them are...

1)Thyroid stimulating hormone( TSH )
✨its function is to secrete that the thyroxine and maintain /regulates the body metabolism .....

2)Growth hormone (GH)
✨also said to be human growth hormone which is responsible for a person's height that he should be tall or drawf....


3)Prolactin
✨it is very helpful for pregnant womens as it is stimulates milk production in them.....

☆ It is situated in a depression of the sphenoid bone of the fore head. This is called sella -tunica.

●Its weight is approx 0.6 grams.
●This is know as master glad and it is controlled by hypothalmus.

■ STH Hormone (somatotropic Hormone)

》》It controls the growth of the body especailly the growth of bones.
By the excessive of STH gigantism and acromegaly are caused, in which height of human grows abnormally.Lack of STH causes
dwarfism in human.

■THS Hormone (Thyroid stimulating Hormone)

》》It stimulates the thyroid gland to secrete hormone.

■ACTH Hormone (Adrenocorticotropic Hormone)

》》It control the secretion of adrenal cortex.

■GTH Hormone (Growth Hormone)

》》It controls the functions of gonads.
This is of two types :

1.)FSH Hormone (Follicle- stimulating Hormone)

》》In male it stimulates spermatogenesis in the seminiferous tubules of the testis.
In females,It stimulates the Graffian follicles of the ovary to secret the hormone Oestrogen.

2.)LH Hormone (Luteiniging Hormone)

》》 Interstitial cell stimukating hormone .. secretion of testosterone hormone takes place in male and in case of female estrogen hormone secreted.

■LTH Hormone (Lactogenic Hormone )

》》 Its main function is to stimulate secretion of milk from breasts for infants.

■ADH Hormone (Antidiuretic Hormone)

》》It causes increase in blood pressure .
It is helpful in maintaining the water balance in the body and reduce the volume of urine.
