there are many reasons for this -
some are made my human beings but they r not tru
1)if women cook during periods they will contaminate food
2)in Afghanistan people think that if women got shower during periods the will not be able to be a mom
3) periods are debilitating for women
4)women can't enter into holy temple
5) in Iran people think that mensuration is disease
