To find :

The number of girls

Solution :

Ratio of boys and girls → 3 : 2

Total no of boys = 600

$\sf \small \: number \: of \: girls \: = \frac{2}{3} \times 600$

$\sf \small so \: the \: number \: of \: girls \: is \: 400$

Verification :

As we know the ratio of boys and girls is 3 : 2

So we need to divide 600/400

We will get the the result 3/2 i.e. 3 : 2
