Hey mate!!
_____________★_★

★ Conversion ↓↓

1g ice (-10℃) → ICE (0℃) → WATER (0℃)

→ WATER(100℃) → STEAM(100℃)

★ LATENT HEAT FPR FUSION = 330J/gm

★ LATENT HEAT FOR VAPORIZATION = 2230 J/gm

→ now,

Q(heat) released =

0.5 × 4.2 + 330 + 420 + 2230 = 2982.1

approximation taken..

so, your answer is option 1) 3028J

hope it helps!!

Hi mate,

here basically you have to find heat required for ice to convert to water then water at 0 ° C to water at 100°C and then water at 100°C to steam.

Thank you

and keep smiling
