Eutrophication➙ An enrichment of water by nutrient salts that causes structural changes to the ecosystem.

==========================⤵

❖ It is a big word that describes a big problem in the nation's estuaries.

❖ It can have serious effects, like algal blooms that block light from getting into the water & harm the plants & animals that need it.

Eutrophication is the process in which dissolved oxygen in water gets reduced due to excessive growth of algae as a result of extra loading of nutrients in water body.
