Explain why the planets do not twinkle? ​

Hello dear!

Planets are very close to the earth as compared to the stars.They also act as extended source of light.The total variation in the amount of light entering our eyes from all the individual point sized sources will average out to zero,which nullify the twinkling effect of each other.So, the planets do not twinkle.

the main reason of happening this are follow

planet are placed much closer to the Earth than star and thus it seems as extended sources of light it is collections of many points are sources of light the total variation in the amount of light entering our eye from all the individual points size sources will be average out to zero therefore ,the planet does not seems to be twinkling
