Hello fella(s). ♥♥♥

Here's a cool question for u all to answer!!!

Q. Can kinetic energy of a body be negative? Why?

[and I'm seriously lookin' for a good answer]

Yuvrajpaul: the square of any negativ3 number is always positive
Yuvrajpaul: so ke can never get a negative value
Yuvrajpaul: Its v^2 Let say velocity is -2 ok
Yuvrajpaul: -2 (square) = -2×-2
Yuvrajpaul: - × - becomes + ...thats why
Yuvrajpaul: No problem,❤

⭕️Energy by virtue of its motion is called as kinetic energy.

⭕️Kinetic energy of a body cannot be -ve.

⭕️If for suppose the kinetic energy is 0 and it means that the object is in stationary.

⭕️And for the above case we know that the stationary object cannot possess any kinetic energy.

⭕️So Kinetic energy or {KE} can't be in any negative form.

➖And other reasons could be :-

⭕️mass is always positive .

⭕️velocity will be -ve but the square of velocity is positive.

⭕️so the kinetic energy is always positive.

⭕️Kinetic energy depends on mass (m) of the object and speed (v) of the object.

➖The equation is:-

KE = ½ mv²

⭕️He as v is squared -ve would be +ve.

⭕️mass is never -ve and v² will always be +ve

No,the kinetic energy of an object cannot be negative because if the KE will reach zero then it means that the object is stationary and a stationary object cannot possess any kinetic energy which is why the KE is not able to reach any negative form.

pratyush4211: Means some kinetic always remain
pratyush4211: and also when an object is at rest it have ke or not
