Hello

For a wedding photoshoot, Ravi needs two bulbs around a mirror. There are only two slots for the light bulbs on either side. He has eight bulbs out of which four are working, and the other four are not working. He needs to try it out to find a pair that lights up the mirror properly. What is the least number of trials he needs for proper lighting?
