the net force acting on the body is mg downward direction...
where m is the mass of the body and g is the gravity act on the body...
as the train having constant velocity so the acceleration in the horizontal direction is zero...

Heya ....

It is given that the train is moving with uniform velocity.....

Therefore horizontal acceleration = ZERO..

Vertical acceleration can't ever be zero...

that is is always present in the form of acceleration due to gravity....#g

...Vertical motion...

Force = Mass* Acceleration

  • MASS = 0.1 KG
  • g = 10 m/s²

therefore

Force = 0.1*10 = I N
