Before independence the political parties do work for freeing India .

Now ,the political parties do the followings :

• The party which is in rule has to do some work for the welfare of the country .

• Most of the political parties are involved in corruption .

• During the days of elections they fought with each other .

• They tried to appear very helpful for the country .

• They tried attract people's attention on the wrong doing of the party which is in rule.

• But it is beneficial for a democracy .

This is one of the merits of democracy .

1. Many political parties involved in corruption.

2. The pressure of winning electrons fights by the parties does not allowed long term policies to be formulated.

3. They tried to win the elections by dirty tricks .

4. Electric fights create a sense of disunity in every locality.

5. Some people who wish to serve the country do not like to enter in this Arena as they don't like political fights.

6. Inspite of this , some parties are continuously doing effort in the development of the country.

7. They think only for the poor people and the development of the country.
