HEY DEAR HERE IS YOUR ANSWER PLEASE CHECK IT AND HAVE A LOOK ON IT...I THINK U WILL GET IT.

When a constant number is multiplied in a matrix then it's get multiplied to every element inside the matrix.

since in your question k is multiplied , so it will get multiplied to each element.

now after multiplication you can see the element -4 becomes 24...now tell me...how can u get 24 from -4?....right...when u multiplied -4 by -6.....-4*-6=24....there fore the value of K=-6.

so now we solved 90% of our questions...now only formalities are there.....

now multiply -6 to 2 and equate this to 3a
u will get....3a=-12....a=-4.

similarly 3*-6=2b
b=-9.

therefore....k=-6
a=-4
b=-9

which is option c.

get it.

ramadugusrinivas: Thanks
